Avika Shah is a Children’s Book Illustrator who grew up in India and now calls Belgium home. Her journey into illustration began while teaching her 7-year-old son how to draw, a shared creative moment that led her to be a storyteller through art. Every new illustration she creates is first shown to him, knowing his delight (or lack of it!) as it is the most unfiltered reaction to her work. She enjoys travelling, cooking, photography and collecting miniature objects (her favourites from her collection include a mini sketchbook and colour pencils). She would love to work on illustrations for Children's Books and license her illustrations for products. She is looking for representation for Children's books.
